Hello. Today I will educate you on the importance of technology. And how it drives most people up the wall.

I will begin today's blog with a description on the different types of people associated and affected by technology.

Technocrats
Technocrats are largely technocentric. They know every single nuance of a technology - from conception to the final finished product. They know what makes a gadget tick. They know how to NOT make it tick. They can bore you with details which can put you to sleep. The last time someone bored you to death this badly was in high school. During Physics. They seldom change their gadgets. They're favourite word is "upgrading". Not replacing. Avoid them at all costs.

Gadget Freaks
Ah, these are a different set of people altogether. These people are only interested in the coolest and latest technology available to mankind. They're the ones who can't live without bluetooth, wi-fi and pda's. How do you spot one of them? Easy, look for an individual who uses a Nokia 9500 Communicator and doesn't even know how to set the alarm. Yes they can't live without bluetooth, only if someone had originally set it up for them. Once the device no longer recognizes the connection, they return the product to the shop to get it reprogrammed. Lol. This is the 'ketuk' bunch. You can 'ketuk' them all the time. They pay top dollar for top class product; only to see it drop half that price a week later. Gadget Freak's must be seen holding or having one of these items at any one time: 9500, P910i, O2 XDA IIs, Sony PSP, Apple iPod.

Budget Gadget
Ha, these group of individuals are even worse. They buy the cheapest gadget, but expect everything to be in "full spec" mode. Lol. They expect everything to be free. Typical conversation with Budget Gadgeteers, "Eh, Bluetooth headset not free ah? Ayoo, local how much? So expensive ah? 300 ah? 150 can or not?" WTF?? Lol. They want top of the line items for rock bottom prices. My advice to these kinds of people. Go and make one yourself if you want it that cheap!

So there you have it boys and girls. The world of technology, and their inhabitants. Lol. Vorsprung Durch Technik my ass.
Oh btw, in case you were wondering, that's german for Advancement Through Technology, It's from Audi. Which funnily enough is so cliche. Since they break down ALL the bloody time. Haaa..

The Truth About Boys.

"It's a sick joke," said a friend as he sipped his Coke. "Why do good guys always end up getting hurt?" I tried rationalizing it, failed, then subsequently tried to generalize it. I tried to make sense of something that; try as I might, bloody well doesn't. Good guys always, always , finish last. It's the rule of the game. And we always end up on the losing side. Girls (in general) play the game well. Imagine this: You're at a bar, a girl chats you up and asks you to accompany her home. I can say with absolute confidence that she will get you to follow like a dog on a very, very short leash. Now imagine if the situation were reversed . You'd still be the dog, but dear me, where's that bloody leash gone to? Exactly. It's not a dickey dick world we live in gents. Wake up and smell the bloody tampons (no pun intended). The truth is, boys are an easy bunch to decipher. We're like apes. We only ever want one thing. Give to us what we want...
