Torrential

Just got back from Lop's. The rain was intense. I couldn't see anything further than 50 metres. It was pouring so hard a car spun in front of me on the NKVE. I was lucky to avoid the guy in time. The car was pummeled by a Waja and another car which looks suspiciously like a pumped up Proton Wira. The Rusa (the guy who spun) was pummeled into a sandwich. But i think he's alright. The car did NOT flip over. So yeah, that was freaky. Really freaky.

Anyways, we had a great conversation. We cooked/boiled some Maggi Curry (well Khalid did all that, I just watched, hee) and watched some TV. We also tried Pepsi Fire and Pepsi Ice, which consequently, is nothing GREAT..lol. Pepsi Fire tasted like regular Pepsi, and Pepsi Ice, tasted like Colgate's Extra-White.

Anyways, after a bout of Pepsi-mixing (red and blue really does make Purple..), we started cracking some dumb ass jokes, and insults for the better part of an hour, and decided (way too late) that it was time for us to get going since the sky was getting really dark, and the wind was screaming Mary.

As i got out of his apartment, the wind was literally tearing a tree off from it's stalk. It was that ferocious.

Got in the car, listened to some Binocular and drove slowly home through a torrential downpour. As i sit here in my cramped bedroom, i can still hear the howling wind and the distant thunder passing through my window(s).

Strangely, in the comfort of my own room, the sound of rain - the trickle of water running through the pipes, the sound of the windchime singing it's tune and the tapping of raindrops on my window- is strangely soothing. It's a familiar sensation; one which we've all grown accustomed to, and taken for granted. But through the dimming street lights and the faint glow of a moon trying to wrestle it's way through all the dark clouds, it's almost poetic. A mesmerising sight. And I'm enjoying every single bit of it.

Time for me to just lie down on my bed...and let the rain drift me to sleep.
