Now i remember how i got through those really cold nights in Melbourne.

These four kept me company.

Okay, I bet now many of you are wondering what am i yammering on about. Well for those of you in the know, the names i mentioned above, happen to be Malaysian actors - the yuppie generation. The english speaking ones. On TV.

And they acted in one of the best shows ever produced in Malaysia.

Getting Together.

It's a TV show about four friends who got together after being separated by the tides of time, commitments and of course work.

While it may be a little stereotyped at times (since it was produced during the F.R.I.E.N.D.S generation) there are certain episodes which definately shine above others. In fact, even the worst episodes are way better than all the junk produced by Malaysian television *combined!* these days. Ng Ping Ho *the producer/director* is a tinsel genius.

I'm sure those few friends of mine who joined me in watching Getting Together in Melbourne know what i'm going on about. And for those of you NOT in the know. Know now. Watch this show, one way or another. Even though it only lasted for a season. Stupid Malaysian rating system. This show is way better than Akademi Fantasia okay.

The friendship these four play acted on TV looked truly genuine. Maybe they really are good friends on the outside. Maybe not. But it didn't matter, because when I look at these four, it made me reflect on my own friendship(s) throughout my life.

I'll end this blog with a snippet of the theme song. Which is brilliant. Wish it was on a CD somewhere...

My arse. We had a kick ass monday. ;) Thanks guys, but umm, i do need to work, so let's not do this EVERY day... :P Yeah that's me. Duh. Sin Han sucking a straw. Hee. DJ Jackslope of Tewwow. Queue the stabbing Music. Eek eek eek eek. Queue self stabbing Music. Kee kee kee kee. Hanisah loves knives. ;) Romantic Moonlight scene. I told you this would turn out great! Group shot! Group Shot!! This wasn't rehearsed. Honest. My room. Which some people call deceptively small. It's not. IT IS SMALL. The two girls posing in front of some ambient tree lighting. Hee. Shutter, Aperture, Shutter, Aperture...mana lah tripod nih... Everybody seems to be doing this now. :)

The Truth About Boys.

"It's a sick joke," said a friend as he sipped his Coke. "Why do good guys always end up getting hurt?" I tried rationalizing it, failed, then subsequently tried to generalize it. I tried to make sense of something that; try as I might, bloody well doesn't. Good guys always, always , finish last. It's the rule of the game. And we always end up on the losing side. Girls (in general) play the game well. Imagine this: You're at a bar, a girl chats you up and asks you to accompany her home. I can say with absolute confidence that she will get you to follow like a dog on a very, very short leash. Now imagine if the situation were reversed . You'd still be the dog, but dear me, where's that bloody leash gone to? Exactly. It's not a dickey dick world we live in gents. Wake up and smell the bloody tampons (no pun intended). The truth is, boys are an easy bunch to decipher. We're like apes. We only ever want one thing. Give to us what we want...
