Syawal's almost over, the year has less than a month of life in it left, and god willing another year will be blessed upon all of us next year.

I won't start summarizing the year in advance though, it still has 29 or so days in it left.

So far, it's been an interesting year - to say the least. I've learned ten important life lessons so far.

1. If you really want something, wait for it, don't settle for anything lesser.

2. The friends who are with you through thick and thin, can't be chosen or forced upon.

3. I need to read through the lines a lot more.

4. Flexibilty is a double edged sword. It is a boon & a bane all at the same time.

5. Never assume. It really does make an ASS of U and ME.

6. Assertion is an important aspect of decision making.

7. Nothing will ever remain as it is. People change, events change, YOU change.

8. Bad months - they really do exist! Lol.

9. Forgiveness isn't a four letter word expression. Try it - it's easier than you think.

10.Never ever repeat your mistakes. It actually sounds easier than it is. Never turn around once you've gone out of the room.

The Truth About Boys.

"It's a sick joke," said a friend as he sipped his Coke. "Why do good guys always end up getting hurt?" I tried rationalizing it, failed, then subsequently tried to generalize it. I tried to make sense of something that; try as I might, bloody well doesn't. Good guys always, always , finish last. It's the rule of the game. And we always end up on the losing side. Girls (in general) play the game well. Imagine this: You're at a bar, a girl chats you up and asks you to accompany her home. I can say with absolute confidence that she will get you to follow like a dog on a very, very short leash. Now imagine if the situation were reversed . You'd still be the dog, but dear me, where's that bloody leash gone to? Exactly. It's not a dickey dick world we live in gents. Wake up and smell the bloody tampons (no pun intended).
