Eddie & Khalid Goes to White Castle
"The rain just kept pouring."
The day started off being pretty mundane - woke up late, went to work, went for friday prayers, went back to work, met up with Khalid & Lop, Halo 2'ed, then went for buka puasa with Khalid after dropping off some important documents to my new partner; who funnily enough, doesn't know the meaning of directorship in a company. Lol.
Anyway, we got back home, Haloed somemore (Bungie's been consuming my life since Thursday) and when it was time for Khalid to jet back home on his trusty Superbike, we realised that the rain was pouring even harder. Damnit. There's no way for him to continue speeding back on his Police-issue motorcycle now.
So Khalid has to camp in my place for the night. For those of you in the know, my room is a complete and utter hazard. There's only room for el primo, and my stuff, which incidentally takes up more space than i do. Khalid on the other hand, being the persistant lil bugger that he is, told me that he's willing to sleep anywhere including my nephew's newfangled castle which is situated in his little territory he conquered over the weekend (my brother's room, sneaky lil Harith...)
Fookin 'ell. there's no getting rid of him tonight that's for sure.
Might as well do something productive. (My eyes are bulging; so no more Halo for the night...phew.)
So we looked through old photos, old videos, old stories and old newspapers and didn't get a hint of nostalgia. We decided the here and now was so much better and decided to document our oh-so-boring nuances on the Nikon SLR for all the world to see. Yes i know, i'm a narc, but aren't we all. I'm sure Ezar (EZ..lol) agrees... :P
Anyways, it's getting late, Khalid is still running in and out of my room to get some essentials so i thought what the hell. Might as well lock the dividing doors. Heh.
Here's something for the road.
